Initial situation

In 2016, we installed a used X-ray machine from Switzerland in this clinic. It worked perfectly for the first 2.5 years, but subsequently required several repairs and was ultimately recalibrated.

Project

In China (Perlove Medical), a digital X-ray machine was purchased directly from the factory and transported by sea to Cameroon and then to Chad. The machine was installed by a local partner of the Chinese company and is now serviced as needed. Digital X-ray technology eliminates the need for, and especially the disposal of, toxic chemicals and provides significantly better image quality.
