The Amitié Suisse Tchadienne association currently supports two hospitals and several health centers. Below you will find brief profiles of our partner institutions.
Clinique El Jire Rapha
The El Jire Rapha Clinic in Moundou was founded in 2009 by Dr. Djongali. The clinic forms an important pillar of the healthcare system for the country's second-largest city. Surgeon Dr. Frédéric Berniba Djongali is the founder and head of this clinic, which, in addition to basic care, offers a wide range of services, including infectious diseases, pediatrics, and gynecology and obstetrics.
Hospital Confessionnel de Djamane Mbarissou
The Djamane Mbarissou Confessional Hospital is located in the Mayo Kebbi Est district, approximately 250 km north of Moundou. The village of Djamane Mbarissou established a small health center in 1984, which steadily grew and has been recognized as a hospital since 2010. It is one of five hospitals in the province and is of significant geographical importance.
Health centers
We support four health centers in the Mayo Kebbi Est region.
All the health centers were founded by the villagers themselves on their own initiative and are independently run. We have been supporting them for several years and assist them as needed with construction projects, the installation or maintenance of electricity or water supplies, and staff training.
