Initial situation
Dr. Djongali is highly trained in the use of electrocoagulation in surgery. Until now, however, the power supply for such a device was inadequate in both hospitals. With the upgrade of the power supply, these devices can now be used to minimize blood loss and thus improve surgical outcomes.
Project
Two new electric coagulation devices were purchased in Switzerland at a 30% discount. They were tested and packed for transport, allowing them to be delivered free of charge by acquaintances in October 2014. They were easily installed in both hospitals and are used daily during surgeries.
