Initial situation

Until the end of 2022, the Clinique El Jire Rapha in Moundou only had the option of estimating the number of red blood cells using a simple centrifuge. Further blood analysis was not possible due to the lack of laboratory equipment.

Project

With the acquisition of a laboratory device for blood cell analysis, it is now possible not only to analyze the various blood cells but also to differentiate them mechanically. This significantly improves medical diagnostics and thus contributes to better patient care.

The equipment was procured in Moundou in January 2023; maintenance and the necessary chemicals are ensured on site.
