Initial situation

In the three health centers we supported, all births took place on the floor. Furthermore, there were no beds for patients who needed to stay overnight. However, the biggest problem remained the lack of medical equipment for performing births and minor procedures.

Project

In June 2018, both birthing tables and beds were delivered to the health centers in Zuigi Marba and Kolong. As with the other hospitals, they were manufactured by the carpentry and metalworking workshop in Koyom. The medical supplies were sourced in Switzerland and transported to Chad.
