Initial situation

The main surgical building, constructed in 2008, was in urgent need of renovation, particularly to the walls, ceilings, and electrical wiring. This building is used for surgeries and consultations, and is also where surgical patients are hospitalized.

Project

A local construction company was able to completely renovate the building. In particular, the operating room now meets the necessary standards, and the electrical wiring has been renewed. As the main building of this hospital, it has also served as the center for the "gynecological-obstetrical caravan" since 2023, during which a group of Chadian doctors from the capital treat and operate on patients free of charge in Djamane Mbarissou for over a week.
